WORK ETHIC DISTINCTION

The Work Ethic Distinction in Wilson County Schools provides a proactive approach to workforce readiness. Students who graduate with this credential illustrate that they are prepared for entering the workforce or transitioning to college.

 
DISTINCTION LEVELS
Students must achieve 25 points or greater in these core areas:
Attendance          Dual Enrollment             Industry Awareness             Community Service            ACT                                  Employed/Enlisted (military), or Enrolled (post-secondary)      
Discipline             Drug-Free                        Career & Technical Coursework and Competition
Drug-Free             Grade Point Average     TN Promise Eligibility          Career Readiness: Academic Standard            
AWARD LEVELS
Gold  35+ points
Silver 30-34 points
Bronze 25-29 points
